Injection 100mlDescriptionOxytetracycline is a broad spectrum antibiotic, with bacteriostatic action against a large number of Gram-positive and Gram-negative organisms, (like Streptococci, Staphylococci, Pasteurella spp., Brucella spp., Corynebacteria spp., Erusipelothrix, Colifroms, Salmonella) and Rickettsiae, Mycoplasmas, Chlamudia and some protozoa. Activity against Pseudomonas, Proteus- and Klebsiella spp. is low.
Applied parenterally, Oxytetracycline penetrates quickly into the blood and tissues, but the advanced effect of this preparation is the extremely long therapeutic effect. Do not administer in combination with Penicillins or Cephalosporins. Do not administer to horses, dogs and cats. Do not administer to ewes producing milk for human consumption.
